What to Expect

Find us right under the cables of the Goldbelt Tramway. Their you'll find your driver with a sign that reads, “REEL1”. Before we head out we'll offer any needed assistance in getting your Alaska fishing license.

Then you'll hop into our comfortable 12-passenger fishing shuttle. On your way to some of our favorite fishing locations your driver will share local tips, fishing information, and some fun facts about Juneau.

When we arrive we’ll get you set up with a fishing pole, tackle, lures and direction. The difference in the tide is nearly 20ft, so depending on the time of day, there may be a short walk to the fishing area.

During your time fishing on the shore expect incredible scenery and great chances to catch all 5 species of pacific Salmon or Dolly Varden.

While this is not a guided experience, you can expect support from your driver to help you get lures on your line, the lay of the land and light refreshments.

When you're ready, whether after just 90 minutes or until our last shuttle at 6:00pm you'll to return to town with great memories, and maybe even dinner (catch and release or keep depending on regulations).
